Millennial Scientific is set to present a talk titled "Carbon microbead media for the purification of Liraglutide and Semaglutide " at the Purify 24 (West) Chromatography Conclave on Tuesday, June 12th, 2024, at ITC Maratha, Mumbai. The presentation will showcase our recent results and advancements in separating and purifying these peptides using NanoPak-C all-carbon microbead, the award-winning material that underpins all its products.
We are also exhibiting at the Conclave.
Purify conclave is the only forum in Asia for scientists from academia and industry to exchange and present ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge development in separation science.
Presentation Title. "Carbon microbead media for the purification of Liraglutide and Semaglutide "
Presenter. Balaji Sitharaman, Ph.D.
Abstract:
Semaglutide and Liraglutide are peptide drugs to treat diabetes and obesity. They are glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) analogs that mimic GLP-1 receptor agonists, a natural hormone that regulates blood sugar levels. Separation and purification of these peptides
are essential to meet drug quality requirements. This presentation highlights our recent efforts to separate and purify these peptides using our novel graphitic carbon microbead reverse-phase media.
