Millennial Scientific Wins Silver Pittcon Excellence Award

Millennial Scientific is honored our newly launched NanoPak-C, a highly differentiated suite of all-carbon chromatograpy products, received the Silver PittCon 2020 Excellence Award.

The Pittcon Today Excellence Awards are premier business awards recognizing ingenuity and innovation at the world’s leading conference and exposition for laboratory science.

Award winners and finalists were selected from over 900 companies exhibiting at PittCon2020. Entries were judged by an independent blue-chip panel of experts from academia and leading industry publications. Judges evaluated entries based on ingenuity, creativity, implementation, and outcomes. The principal criterion was the projected impact the product will have on the industry and society.

"We are thrilled to have been selected as a Pittcon Excellence Award winner at this year's conference," says Balaji Sitharaman, President of Millennial Scientific.

"Our patented NanoPak-C was conceived to be disruptive improvement in pharmaceutical extraction, separation and purification outside the capabilities of the current state-of-art. Through the unique combination of material composition and proprietary manufacturing process, we have been able to synthesize all-carbon spherical microspheres using a carbon sources such as carbon black, graphite, graphene, carbon nanotubes or fullerenes as starting material; something not previously possible."

The innovative technical features of NanoPak-C enable efficient separation of large molecules, highly polar & closely related structures at extreme pHs. Additionally, it surface properties improve removal of nuisance compounds & impurities. Finally, its enhanced durability reduces operation and maintenance costs.
